Education

Education charities make learning possible for students of all ages, from pre-school to graduate school. They also provide other educational services and opportunities that help make schools more effective and more accessible to students of all backgrounds. We classify Education charities into six Causes.

Adult Education Programs and Services organizations focus on leadership and/or professional development for adults. These programs typically operate outside the formal educational system and provide an array of opportunities for adults to expand their knowledge in a particular field or discipline. Adults are encouraged to explore and develop skills in a new area of interest, learn English as a second language, or complete their high school education.

Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.

Health

Children with epilepsy or autism almost always have medical conditions that cause or aggravate the symptoms of epilepsy and autism. Treating those conditions makes the child’s health improve by much. When a child is in less pain he can learn better, have less seizures and aggression. Some children even recover from epilepsy and autism through the use of medical treatments used alongside traditional therapies & medicines.

Charities in Diseases, Disorders, and Disciplines are multipurpose organizations that seek cures for particular diseases and disorders or promote particular medical disciplines by providing direct services, advocating for public understanding and support, and supporting targeted medical research.

They tend to support some of the most marginalised groups to tackle the root causes of poor health. In contrast to a highly specialised health system, charities often engage people through a range of activities and services – building trusted relationships and taking a more holistic view of our wellbeing.

Drinking water & Food

They also lack enough for washing, cooking, cleaning and production of food. As a result, they get sick, and their education and livelihoods suffer. Water security is the ability to access enough clean water to maintain standards of food and goods production, sanitation and health care. WaterAid India aims for long-lasting solutions to make clean water accessible for everyone, everywhere.

We motivate communities and promote local skills to develop, install and manage water security plans. We also work to integrate water security measures, like conservation, rainwater harvesting and water safety in the budgets and plans.

We believe that sustainable work is locally-led. Along with implementing community-owned water projects, our local partners help facilitate comprehensive water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programming to protect everyone’s long-term health.

Social justice

Social justice is the relation of balance between individuals and society measured by comparing distribution of wealth differences, from personal liberties to fair privilege opportunities. In Western as well as in older Asian cultures, the concept of social justice has often referred to the process of ensuring that individuals fulfill their societal roles and receive what was their due from society. In the current global grassroots movements for social justice, the emphasis has been on the breaking of barriers for social mobility, the creation of safety nets and economic justice. Social justice assigns rights and duties in the institutions of society, which enables people to receive the basic benefits and burdens of cooperation. The relevant institutions often include taxation, social insurance, public health, public school, public services, labor law and regulation of markets, to ensure fair distribution of wealth, and equal opportunity.

Interpretations that relate justice to a reciprocal relationship to society are mediated by differences in cultural traditions, some of which emphasize the individual responsibility toward society and others the equilibrium between access to power and its responsible use.Hence, social justice is invoked today while reinterpreting historical figures such as Bartolomé de las Casas, in philosophical debates about differences among human beings, in efforts for gender, ethnic, and social equality, for advocating justice for migrants, prisoners, the environment, and the physically and developmentally disabled.

Awareness programs Homes

As populations and housing costs continue to increase, many Americans are struggling to find affordable places to live. Federal minimum wage earners cannot afford one-bedroom homes anywhere in the country, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

Protection of public properties

The government spends a lot of money to maintain public properties. Remedies are given under the constitution law under Directive principles of state policy (DPSP) and Article 19 of fundamental rights.

Respect for public property is a sign of healthy community spirit. People take pride in belonging to the community and as such there is a natural desire to preserve its dignity and beauty. This sense of belonging gives the individual an identity.

Public property is land and other assets that belong to the general public and not to a private owner. ... If you describe a person or thing as public property, you mean that information about them is known and discussed by everyone.
